European Roulette Rules
European Roulette has 37 numbered pockets from 1-36 and 0 which are alternate colours of black and red. To win, you must correctly predict the outcome of the wheel spin stating which pocket the ball will end up in once the table had stopped rotating. American Roulette have some diferent rules.
Inside Bets: There are a variety of inside bets which should always total the maximum table amounts on the roulette table.
Outside Bets: These should total the minimum betting amounts and are bets selected on larger positional groupings.
European Roulette Inside Bets
Straight Up
A bet predicting that the ball will land on a specified single number with a payout of 35-1.
Split Bet
A bet on the ball landing on either horizontal or vertical lines on two adjacent squares with a payout of 17-1.
Street Bet
A bet placed on a particular single row of three numbers in a vertical line. Pay-off is 11-1.
Special Street Bet
A bet similar to Street Bet but on three numbers, either 0,1 and 2 or 0, 2 and 3.
Line Bet
This is effectively placing two Street Bets, therefore betting on six numbers with a payout of 5-1 when correctly predicted.
Four Bet
Simply a bet placed on the numbers 0,1,2 and 3.
Corner Bet
A bet on the ball landing on any four adjacent squares with a pay-off of 8-1.
European Roulette Outside Bets
Column Bet
Has a payout of 2-1and is a bet predicting that the outcome of the spin will be the ball landing on any one of the twelve numbers on three horizontal rows.
Dozen Bet
A bet made up of three squares where the chips are placed with one from each block of twelve from 1-12, 13-24 and 25-36. 0 is a losing number.
Red/ Black Bet
A bet predicting that the ball will land on either Red or Black. Payout is 1-1.
Even/Odd Bet
A bet on the outcome of the spin will see the ball landing on either an odd or an even number. Payout is 1-1.
Low/High Bet
A bet with a payout of 1-1, predicting that the ball with land either on high numbers, (19-36) or low numbers, (1-18.)
